Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026. Privacy is not a feature we added to XMR No KYC — it is the reason the platform exists. Here is exactly what we collect, and what we have deliberately chosen never to touch.
1. Our Privacy Commitment
XMR No KYC was designed around one non-negotiable requirement: you must be able to swap crypto to Monero without revealing who you are. This Privacy Policy explains the minimal technical data we handle to execute an exchange, and what we have deliberately chosen never to collect, request, or store.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
The following categories of data are never collected, requested, or stored — by architecture, not just by policy:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information whatsoever
- Government-issued identification documents of any kind
- Facial recognition data, biometrics, or selfies
- Phone numbers or device identifiers
- Persistent user profiles or account records
- Cookie-based tracking, advertising pixels, or cross-site analytics scripts
- Blockchain risk scores or wallet screening results from any service
3. Data We Do Collect
To execute your Monero swap, the following technical data is held in your active session for the duration of the order:
- Deposit address: A single-use address generated for your order to receive the incoming funds.
- XMR destination address: The Monero wallet address you provided for receiving the exchanged funds.
- Currency pair and amount: The coins involved and the value being exchanged.
- Order timestamp: When the order was created, used to lock the exchange rate and define the validity window.
This data is scoped to your PHP session and referenced by Order ID only. It is never linked to a persistent identity, account, or profile of any kind. When your session ends, the order data is no longer accessible.
4. Server Logs
Web servers produce standard access logs containing IP addresses, request timestamps, and URLs. These logs are used strictly for operational purposes such as diagnosing technical issues and detecting abuse. Logs are not shared with third parties, and retention is kept to the minimum technically necessary for operations.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following external services to operate this platform:
- KuCoin API: Provides live cryptocurrency exchange rate data. No personal data is transmitted to KuCoin as part of this integration.
- QR Server (api.qrserver.com): Generates QR codes for deposit addresses. The deposit address is sent to this service solely to render the QR image for your convenience.
- Google Fonts: Serves typefaces used in the interface. Font requests are made to Google's servers under standard browser behavior.
6. Cookies
We use a single PHP session cookie to maintain your order state while you complete a swap. This cookie contains no personal information and expires automatically when you close your browser. We use no advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or analytics cookies of any kind.
7. Data Retention
Order session data exists only for the duration of your active browser session. We do not operate a long-term order database linked to user identities. When your session ends, the order data associated with it is no longer accessible from our systems.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell, license, or share your data with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. We may disclose information if compelled by valid legal process — but by design, we have very little to disclose.
9. Security
All connections to this service are encrypted via HTTPS. Each order is assigned a unique, randomly generated deposit address. We implement technical safeguards proportionate to the minimal data we process.
10. Children's Privacy
This Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has used the Service, we will take appropriate steps.
11. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
